Yunnan Black Tea, also known as Dian Hong, comes from a number of regions in the south and south-west of Yunnan Province, including Lincang, Baoshan, Fengqing, Xishuangbanna and Dehong.

Yunnan Black Tea is made from high-quality fresh leaves of the large-leafed tea tree through a series of steps. These include withering, twisting or kneading, fermentation, baking and other processing procedures.
