Jin Jun Mei Black Tea
Jin Jun Mei tea is an offshoot of Lapsang Souchong black tea from Tongmu Village, Wuyishan City, Fujian Province. It is a new type of black tea that was innovatively developed in 2005, combining traditional craftsmanship with innovation.
This precious tea is entirely handmade, with tens of thousands of tea buds from the Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve required for every 500 grams of Jin Jun Mei tea. It undergoes a series of complex processes including withering, shaking, fermentation and kneading. The tea production process is rigorous and delicate, resulting in fine and tightly packed tea buds, golden tea hairs, golden soup colour and a sweet and refreshing taste.
After brewing, the tea has an amber-golden Jun Mei colour, a light and sweet honey aroma and a sweet and smooth taste. The buds at the base of the leaves are a vivid bronze colour, retaining the natural colour of the tea leaves.
The origin and quality of Jin Jun Mei tea reflect the depth of tea culture and the high level of tea-making technology. Its unique charm and precious quality make it not only the jewel of tea, but also the pride of the Wuyishan tea industry, showcasing the unique charm of tea craftsmanship.
